I take it you’re trying to peel the muffler off of the pipe? Looks like you almost got it. If you could just twist the whole muffler (strap wrench?)... it’s gotta break free somehow.

I have, and you can’t pump it yourself. NJ and Oregon. I remember putting the nozzle into a rental car and a guy running over and explaining things to me.
